This Abuse Policy explains how [@fuck.it] handles harmful behavior, reports and abuse complaints. We take abuse seriously - whether it’s coming from inside or outside the platform.
1. What We Consider Abuse
- Harassment, threats or targeted attacks
- Hate speech, violent content or discrimination
- Doxxing or leaking private information
- Impersonation or fake identity abuse
- Distribution of illegal, abusive or non-consensual material
- Repeated violations of our Acceptable Use Policy or Anti-Spam Policy
- Violating export control laws or international sanctions – including use by sanctioned individuals, embargoed regions or sending restricted data (e.g. ITAR-controlled content)
2. What You Should Do
If you believe someone is abusing the service:
- Forward the abusive email to abuse@fuck.it
- Include headers and any relevant context
- If the content is dangerous or criminal, also contact local authorities
3. What We Do
We take every abuse report seriously. Our team will:
- Investigate the report confidentially
- Suspend the account if the evidence is clear
- Involve law enforcement when required
- Respond to the reporter (if appropriate)
Abuse handling is coordinated with Open-Xchange (OX), our platform provider. In some cases, abuse reports or evidence may be escalated to or originate from their automated or manual systems. We act swiftly when violations are confirmed.
If we terminate your account for abuse, that’s it – you’re not getting it back and there are no refunds either.
4. False Reports
Knowingly submitting false abuse reports wastes time and may get your own account suspended. Don’t weaponize the abuse system.
5. Privacy & Transparency
We won’t share internal investigation details, but we will:
- Notify users if their accounts are reported (unless gagged by law)
- Keep reports confidential
- Maintain internal logs of abusive activity
- We may share general statistics (e.g., number of abuse reports, how many accounts closed for abuse) to be transparent, but without revealing personal details.
6. Repeat Offenders
One serious violation may be enough for termination. Multiple smaller violations definitely are. We’re not keeping score - we’re protecting people.
7. Cross-Service Abuse
If you use [@fuck.it] to harass people on other platforms, that’s still our problem. We may still take action.
8. Related Policies
This policy works together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Anti-Spam Policy.
